Big Dave
One of a Kind
Teddy Bear Kit

The Big Dave kit costs £80 plus postage, packing and insurance*, it makes a traditional centre-seam bear about 17”/ 44cm tall. The kit includes 1/2 meter of hand dyed mohair, which is easily enough to make your bear plus having some left over in case you make any mistakes.

Each kit is made from a unique piece of hand dyed mohair, together with matching paw pad material, beautiful hand painted eyes and nose threads. It comes complete with pattern and full instructions, with diagrams for the trickier bits. You need to buy joints, sewing thread and strong button thread, bear making tools and stuffing material. As all the mohair is unique to each kit you will definitely be making your own one of a kind artist bear.

If you feel that you need some personal help in making your bear I can offer teddy bear making workshops either on a one to one or group basis. Please click here for more details

Here are some examples of the bears that we have made using the Big Dave pattern

Please use the contact link at the bottom of the page if you would like to order this kit, I will need to know the colours you would like me to use and if you would like me to use sparse/curly/dense/feathery mohair. You can use the pictures above for guidance or you can ask for whatever you like.

I look forward to hearing from you

Barbara

* postage, packing and insurance costs: UK £6.00, Europe £9.00, USA and the rest of the world £12.00
