Benny is an irrepressibly exuberant one of a kind artist bear made from long, shaggy, hand dyed mohair

Benny stands 10.5inches (27 cm) tall and is 8.5 inches (22 cm) sitting.

Benny is made from a piece of very long, straggly, stringy, scruffy mohair. Barbara has dyed the backing of the mohair rather than the pile so that the colour has seeped through to the bottom of the strands but the majority remains it's original cream colour....oh, just look at the pictures, it's a lot easier than trying to describe it..., he's quite a colourful bear, but not too bright, he's comfortably colourful, the backing of the mohair has been dyed in shades of pink, green, yellow, amber and blue. His velvet paw pads have been dyed in similar colours to tie in with his mohair, he has gorgeous, hand painted eyes with eyelids, a stonker of a nose, sewn in the colours of his mohair and a broad, enthusiastic smile. Benny is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing, making him more cuddly and flexible than he might be if completely stuffed with polyester, we don't like stiff and rigid bears, we like our bears to enjoy a cuddle...in moderation of course. 

Benny is a little bundle of fun, a big bag of chuckles and guffaws, a reminder of summer flowers and a bear to make you smile. He is both wild and calm, he has a gentle disposition, a caring side, a warm and friendly bear with heaps of scruffiness, we hope you like him.

Pasha, passionately purple, a one of a kind, mohair, artist bear made from hand dyed mohair

Pasha stands 9 inches (23 cm) tall and is 6.5 inches (17 cm) sitting. 

She is made mainly from a medium length, gently distressed mohair that Barbara has dyed a rich mauve, her tummy and the underside of her tail are made from a straight pile, orange tipped cream mohair, her face is made from a long, hand dyed, baby pink ,mohair with a delicate lemony backing and she has shocking pink ears. Pasha's velvet paws are hand dyed in many pastel shades of yellow, amber, red, green, purple and blue which compliment her mohair beautifully. Her eyes are quite large for the bear's size, so you can gaze endlessly into them, amazed at their hand painted colours, she has eyelids too. Pasha has an intricately embroidered nose, made from many different colours and types of cotton, which reflect the colours of her mohair and she has a beguiling smile. She is stuffed with polyester stuffing and glass beads, which make her a little heavier and allow her more flexibility. 

Pasha is a sweet and feminine bear, although strongly coloured she is a bear of grace and charm, a little flower, a crocus who hopes to bring a smile to your face and a warm glow in your heart.

Griselda Tweets is a beautifully coloured, one of a kind, artist bear made from gorgeous hand dyed mohair

Griselda Tweets stands 16 inches (40 cm) tall and is 11 inches (28 cm) sitting.
She costs £260 (GBP) plus £8.00 GBP postage and insurance within the UK and £12.00 GBP postage and insurance everywhere else.

Griselda Tweets is mostly made from a shortish, very dense, straight pile mohair that Barbara has dyed in a dusky magenta, with patches of purple and amber mingled in, her face, tummy, the backs of her ears and the underside of her tail are made from very long, whispy, cream mohair creating an air of light fluffiness. Her paws are made from a patterned cotton fabric that is double layered with felt for extra durability, not that she's likely to go trekking across the Andes. She is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, these giving her a little extra weight and posability. As you can see from the photos she has wonderful hand painted eyes, they suit her perfectly, she has hand painted eyelids too. Her nose has been painstakingly embroidered in individual threads that reflect all her colours and of course she has a broad, beaming smile. She comes with a beautiful. painted wooden heart.

Griselda is a very relaxed bear, a big bear with a sweet heart, she loves to be hugged and cuddled....or just sit quietly and be admired.

Cyrus, a hand dyed mohair, one of a kind artist bear to remind us of cirrus clouds floating high in blue summer skies

Cyrus stands 8.5 inches (21cm) tall and is 6.5 inches (17cm) sitting. 

Cyrus is mostly made from medium length, scruffily distressed mohair that Barbara has hand dyed in bright summery blues with dabs of warm pink and a subtle purple. The rest of him is made from slightly longer, feathery white mohair adding to the impression of white clouds drifting by on a warm summer's day.His velvet paw pads were dyed at the same time as the mohair and so match it perfectly.He has very subtly coloured hand painted eyes with eyelids, an intricately embroidered nose that reflects all the colours of his mohair and a sympathetic smile, Cyrus is stuffed with glass beads and polyester stuffing to lend him a little extra weight and flexibility.

Cyrus is a gentle bear, a bear to sit quietly and listen, he has a peace and calm that might remind you of happy summer days, days filled with laughter and birdsong. We hope you like him.

Ozzie Tumbledown a sweet and curly, one of a kind artist bear made from gently coloured hand dyed mohair
Ozzie costs £110 (GBP) plus £

Ozzie Tumbledown is 7 inches (18 cm) tall and is 5.5 inches (14 cm) sitting.

Ozzie Tumbledown is made from very curly, quite sparse, German mohair that Barbara has dyed in pale shades of pink, yellow, beige and orange while the backing is dyed in more vibrant greens, blues, lime and peach. His had dyed paw pads are also dyed in a multitude of colours to tie in with the mohair. He has beautiful, hand painted, multi-coloured eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a neatly embroidered nose that also captures the colours of the mohair and a cheerful and slightly inquisitive smile. Ozzie is stuffed with glass beads and polyester stuffing making him quite a heavy little chap and a little more flexible and squidgy. He also has a little, cream coloured, wooden heart with the words 'Love you' on it.

Ozzie is the first of a new design, so we hope you like him, he's a chunky little fellow with a gentle personality, he's just a quiet little bear needing somebody to love him.

Cuddlesome Pete, a chunky bundle of colourful cuddles and humongous hugs, a one of a kind artist bear made from hand dyed mohair

Cuddlesome Pete has been adopted

Cuddlesome Pete is 9.5 inches (24 cm) tall and is 7.5 inches (19 cm) sitting.

Cuddlesome Pete is cuddly chap, the words svelte, athletic, toned and abs mean nothing to him, he once had a six pack, but that was just a box of muffins, which he enjoyed immensely, no he's not one for keep fit or diets, he's comfortable just the way he is. He is made from a piece of distressed, sparse mohair that varies between quite straight and pretty wild hand dyed in shades of blue with a blotchy deep rose backing, it has a shabby chic quality as does Pete himself....more shabby than chic... ahem...His tummy, the fronts of his ears and the underside of his tail are made from a denser, curly mohair again hand dyed in shades of blue. He has blueish hand dyed velvet paw pads to match, sparkling hand painted eyes with eyelids, a splendidly embroidered nose and a huge grin. Pete is stuffed with plastic pellets and polyester stuffing and as you can see from the photos he has a large, stripy, softly cushioned heart attached to him like a medal of love.

Cuddlesome Pete is a happy go lucky bear, a lover of good company and good food...not even good food, just food. He's a bear always on the guard against a cold spell, ready to hibernate at a moment's notice and that demands great dedication to his tummy...he's not fat, he's preparing for hibernation!

Rubens, an impressive, kind and lovable one of a kind bear made from hand dyed and luxuriously long mohair

He has beautiful, captivating, hand painted glass eyes with eyelids, a large and colourful embroidered nose with individual colours chosen to match his mohair and a broad and reassuring smile. Lavinia is made from very long, straggly, German mohair that Barbara has dyed a scrumptious shade of lilac, her tummy the fronts of her ears and the underside of her tail are made from long, soft, fluffy, feathery, white mohair, her velvet paw pads were dyed at the same time and so match her mohair perfectly. She has beautifully hand painted, sparkling eyes with hand coloured eyelids, a carefully embroidered nose and an enigmatic smile. She is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets which makes her a little more flexible, super cuddly and huggable..her long arms are specially designed for hugging and cuddling.

Lavinia is a gentle soul, a windswept romantic, a reader of poetry and slushy novels, she yearns to be held and cherished, to walk hand in hand into a golden sunset...just like the movies.
