Hello, here are the new bears, an oldish dragon and a new rabbit, we hope you like them. Many of the bears are made from Barbara's own hand dyed mohair, then there are a few wild and woolly characters, some spotty animal print creations and an old fashioned bear made from really old German mohair, similar to the ones we made when we first started back in 1990. All the bears are stuffed with a mixture of pellets and stuffing, so that they have squidgy tummies and heavy hands and feet, many of them will stand up (for a while) as long as it isn't too windy. All the modern bears have glass eyes, many are hand painted, multi-coloured and sparkling with eyelids, they all have big, elaborate multi-coloured noses. Most of the photos were taken on our local beach at St.Mary's Bay, it was a bright sunny day until we arrived when it suddenly turned rather gloomy and windy.
