Welcome to our September 2006 collection. It was too windy too go back to the beach again to take the photos, so these are all taken in our back garden. There are lots of new bears and some new dragons. Many of the bears are made from beautiful mohair that Barbara-Ann has hand dyed in a myriad of dazzling colours, she has also dyed the foot pad material on several of the bears to match the mohair. We have used Rita's sparkling hand painted glass eyes from Woodland Teddies on many of the bears. We stuff the bears with a mixture of plastic pellets and polyester stuffing, this makes their tummies quite soft and squidgable and makes them quite heavy, we like people to know when they're picking up one of our bears. Although the bears are quite loosely jointed to make them more cuddly, most of them will stand without support, as can be seen from their photos, although they do have a tendency to topple over after a few minutes, we think they just get bored. This collection also includes some new bears that a shop called Typhoon bought from us recently, although she doesn't have a website her contact details are on each of her bears. We also sold some bears recently to the Bear Garden and Asquiths, please to go to the Bear Garden website to check availability and prices and phone Asquiths (01491 571978)as our bears aren't on their website yet. Anyway, we hope you like all the new creations, if you have any comments or suggestions we'd love to hear from you, or even better maybe see you at one of the shows.
